My Firsts.

I know that bloggers/vloggers did this ages ago but honestly I never thought of doing it mainly because I am a bit scared to put my life out there, word by word on the internet. But as mentioned in one my posts lately (click here), I have to change my life, big time!
The two things that inspired me to do this are: The Pointless Book - There's a page in it to write your firsts and this year's Christmas Eve. Why? - you might ask. This is the story. I was casually walking around on a street when I tilt my left foot on a quite hidden sidewalk. At the moment it was really painful and I couldn't walk. Then on Christmas day I woke up with a black, green-ish foot which started to concern me. But it was on Boxing day when I went to the hospital and told me that I needed some cast to repair the fracture. I spent the whole day waiting for someone to put some cast on my leg, a WHOLE DAY!

Now, with the firsts:

Word
According to my mum my first word was "daddy", but I don't think that I agree with her as I never call my father - daddy.

Pet
My family is the "I don't want poos and pees on the floor" type so it was when I grew a bit that we  actually owned a pet, which in a way it's a good thing because I remember him clearly. I had a beige hamster called Browny (a really clever name, I know). Browny was an intelligent alcoholic hamster. He used to open his cage and find his way in the wine room, which then ended up causing his death as we once found him floating in a half full wine bottle.

Phone
I had my first phone when I was 10 years and it was given to me as a gift from my aunt. It was a Samsung flip phone which surprisingly, 9 years later is still working.

Job
Well I am still working my first job that I had when I was 15 - a waitress. I so desperately hate it though.

Fear
I don't know which came first because no one in the family can remember but I am deeply afraid from the dark and whatever it comes with it and crocodiles. I slept with my lights on from the minute I started sleeping alone in my room and I can never look at a crocodile picture or something related to it, it just terrifies me.

Fractured Bone

Kiss
Well I had my first kiss when I was around 7 at school which for that age it was a lot but I had my first proper kiss when I was 13 and it was disgusting, well actually he was disgusting which then made everything disgusting. Wish it was kind of special but trust me it was everything but that.

I am so sorry for not posting a proper post today but I can't run around in the house taking pictures of make up or other stuff. Hope you understand.

Thanks for reading. Until next time, have a good life.

    My Winter Nail Polish Picks

    From left to right:
MaxFactor Glossfinity in 160 RASPBERRY BLUSH
NewLook Pure Colour in 99 MULTI
Accessorize Nail Polish (there's no name on the bottle that I can see)

I can safely say that I am a nail polish junky. It was so hard for me to narrow it down to just 9 colours, but I truly love these. Personally I think that the MaxFactor ones are the best nail polishes for a lot of reasons. The colour range to choose from is amazingly large, they dry up quickly and if you're like me and you're a bit lazy when it comes to applying a top coat, there's no need for these ones because the stay on power is amazingly great - I go for 4-5 days without a chip and when applied, it has that gel look effect to it which is a bonus. The new New Look nail polish range is pretty good as well. There's a quite amount of colours to choose from as well and they don't chip immediately too. Also, The Body Shop has released their new line of nail polishes a few months ago and of coarse I had to get and try some. My favorite is Gorgeous Grey but unfortunately if you don't apply a really good top coat it will chip the day after. I have it on my nails at the moment and I applied it like last Monday and two of my nails have literally nothing on them, which is a shame since I am a huge fan of their products. Accessorize make some nice nail polishes too but I don't know if it's just my bottle but there's no name on it. But other than that the quality is great and I love the colour so much. Lastly there's the Barry M one which I particularly use during Christmas time on top of Raspberry Blush - will post a picture of the nails when done over my Instagram)

♥ The Christmas Stocking Gift Ideas ♥

    Candles - Lit
Cup of tea - On bedside table
    Christmas Tree - Lit
Michael Buble's Christmas Album - On
    Comfy pyjamas - On

It's December, it's getting cold and the streets are getting brighter with fairy lights. Yes it's that time of the year again guys.
    It's CHRISTMAS TIME!

As a family we tend to go a tad bit overboard with presents. We love to stuff each other’s stockings with cute little gifts and then some huge presents under the tree.

Here are some stocking gifts ideas that might help you.

For that person who's a bookworm:
Another book can never go wrong. I recently purchased Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (aka Zoella on YouTube) and since then I've read the first two chapters and till now I'm loving it. This is just a suggestion, you obviously can buy any book you would like to, from a romantic one to a psychological thriller.

    Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

For that person who's a candle lover:
Personally I think that Yankee Candles are the best candles. They have a huge variety to choose from all year round from sweet scents to spice-y scents. Being Christmas I picked up this Red Apple Wreath one which literally smells exactly like the candle’s name. Can't wait to start burning it.

Yankee Candle - Red Apple Wreath

For that person who can’t go shopping without buying a pair of socks:
This person would surely love a pair of new ones especially if they are festive. I went for a Pug with a Santa hat and a French Bulldog with black lace trim – so cute!

For that person that absolutely love make up:
For a really long time I’ve been on the hunt for a rather small make up palette that covers the large majority of your daily make up look in one palette and I have finally found that. theBalm California Face Palette is one to die for. First off, it is really small – smaller than your palm and in it you will find 4 beautiful shades as you can see below which can be used as one prefers.

    theBalm California Face Palette

Do you know someone who loves everything Stila or maybe does not have the patience to do the full eyeshadow process? Then this Smudge Pot in Kitten is the one for her. It’s a lovely pink champagne-y colour – really similar to the Kitten shadow – that can be worn literally to any occasion.

Continuing on the make up theme, what other palette would you give to the one you love other than the Naked palettes by Urban Decay. Now if you’re the perfect man in a woman’s life you would probably buy all 3 palettes for her but if you don’t have the actual money to buy all 3 of them I would go for the first one because it has all shades that she would look for. (Just imagine there’s all the 3 palettes in the photo below – I ordered the other two last week and they haven’t arrived yet)

    Naked 1 Palette

For that girl that always has her nails painted and never chipped:
This set of 6 shades is perfect for her. In the set there’s 3 glossy shades – black, dark purple and a really nice kind of turquoise colour and then there’s 3 sparkly shades – silver sparkles, rosy sparkles and multi coloured sparkles. These nail polishes are from the New Look new collection Pure Colour.

For that person that loves cooking:
Want to eat healthier, good food? Buy this cookbook for your mother, sister, girlfriend or wife this Christmas and I promise that you will be eating tastier food. There are really nice recipes in it and the recipe guides you quite well. It also has some nice pictures of the food. Tasty!

    The Really Hungry Student Cookbook

    Now for that lazy friend:
What’s better than being in your comfy pjs at home watching some TV shows or reading a book? Nothing. This cute Snoopy PJs is really comfy, warm and cosy. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, I know since it’s quite pricey but my mum bought this for me on my birthday and I love the great quality. I would be more than happy to receive another one for Christmas.

    Snoopy Top and Snoopy Bottoms

For that super organised person or for that “trying to be organised” person:
A diary for this him/her is a must have. I found this cute diary on asos.com last week and definitely had to buy it. I actually bought it for my mum to keep next to the telephone at home so she could write notes/telephone numbers and so on, in it.

    Ohh Deer Betty A5 Notebook

When all wrapped you can put all the gifts in the stockings and wait for Christmas day to be opened. I get so excited to see what people think about my presents that I gave them more than when I actually open mine.

Have a Happy Christmas guys, and I know that you see this everywhere all year round but mostly in the holidays but I'm going to write it anyway – If you’re going to drive please do NOT drink alcohol, there’s your life and other lives involved.

But other than that enjoy the holidays, eat loads of chocolate and don’t forget to give more to the poor.

    Merry Christmas!

    My Pamper Evening

Being a full time student at university,  working on assignments and working my part-time job, it definitely stresses my mind and my body, so it's important for me to include these pampering evenings.

After these couple of months struggling with "what I'm going to do with my life?" I am trying to spare some time for myself, to relax and free my mind for a couple of hours. Here are the following things which help me with my pamper evening routine.

I start off by running my bath with warm water. In the meantime I would light up my favorite candle at the time - Yankee Candle; Honey and Spice which smells like Christmas and sweet leaves mixed together and get my favorite book to read which at the moment is Paper Towns by John Green.

As the water is running I like to pour a spoonful of The Body Shop Honey Mania Bubble Bath Melt which makes the biggest bubbles ever. In addition, at the moment I am also loving the Zoella Beauty Soak Opera bath soak and shower cream which add more bubbles to the bath and also it smells amazing. I also like to put some type bath bomb in because they are great for your skin. As I used up all my Lush bath bombs I am currently using the Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar which is extraordinary good.

As soon as the bath is warm and nice, I hop in and just relax in it for about 15 minutes - I like to call it the "bath power nap". Then I start off with a face mask, depending on what my skin is craving for. Mostly I use The Body Shop 3-in-1 Deep Cleansing Mask) just because my skin seems to really like it and in the meantime I will cover myself with The Body Shop Coconut Cream Body Scrub focusing mainly on the driest areas.

Once out of the bath I would cover my whole body with a kind of body lotion or body butter, depends on what smell I'm going for, usually I go for a nice refreshing body lotion like the Zoella Beauty Creamy Madly Creamy Body Lotion, but if I am going out afterwards I would go for something more sweet-y.

Then I would continue by using the Nourish Relax Softening Cleanser because it "nurtures and soothes skin prone to stress and allergic response". Then onto the Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner, the Caudalie Vinosourse SOS Morning Eye Rescue and to finish it off, The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream. I found that this skin routine is making my skin really happy.

To finish it all off, I would crawl into my bed and catch up on any of my TV shows and if I feel like it I would paint my nails.

So that's it guys! Hope you enjoyed reading this post and got some inspiration for doing more pamper nights. Pamper Nights would be also great to do with a friend or with your mother even, I really love doing these with my mum - it's a great way to bond with her and catch up on our life.

Do you have pamper nights? What do you do?

    A Change.

    Hello everyone,

So let me start by not ignore the big elephant in the room. I have been away for a little while (more than 5 months actually) but I have an explanation for that.

My life has been a bit tiresome and my anxiety took over it. I still don't feel that comfortable sharing my personal life on the internet but I know that there are LOADS of you dealing with this issue as well and I think that I can handle some bits and bobs.

I spent my entire Summer at home studying, but mostly I was depressed and terrified. I was afraid that I was going to fail again the opportunity to get into Education which I actually did fail again. I was really anti-social, and did not even hung out with my friends once, I didn't want to see them in my 'misery' (if you can call it that).

I felt like failing at everything that I could do right and whenever I opened this laptop to write something in it, I just pulled back. I thought that I was rubbish at it and as a result no one was reading anything that I write. No one is interested in my opinions because I'm just a number in a huge world. Also the thing that more people in my personal life were becoming aware of my blog, it really put me off. The thing that I knew that people I know are judging me on this, it just terrified me and it still does actually. But this is the one thing that I love doing.

I want to change. I need to change. I have to be more confident with my body and my personality. This is who I am and I have to show the world. I can no longer stay in my shell and step out there. I have lost so many opportunities in my life because of my lack of confidence and anxiety. I can't lose anymore.

I am determined to continue writing my blog and share my opinions and criticism with you all. I am determined to change, staying positive.

Do you suffer from anxiety, depression or any mental illness? What do you do to overcome it?

    Stay Beautiful,

    Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Up for a sweet treat? Having people for dinner/tea/lunch, and you don't have anything for desert nor the time?
Then this, ladies and gentlemen is the recipe for you. You can never go wrong with a brownie except if the people you're baking for are diabetic, then you should reconsider in making these goodies.

    Ingredients:
    250g Unsalted Butter
    200g Dark Chocolate
    75g White Chocolate
    360g Caster Sugar
    65g Plain Flour
    80g Cocoa Powder
    1 tspn Baking Powder
    4 Eggs

    What you will need:
    Large Mixing Bowl
    Sifter
    Measuring Scale
    Baking Sheet
    Baking Tin
    Teaspoon
    Wooden Spoon

    The Method:

This recipe is super easy guys and it should take you around 30 minutes to make and another 30 minutes to bake. The first thing that every recipe tells you to do is to preheat your oven, in this case at 175 degrees C/345 Fahrenheit. Afterwards, prepare all the ingredients mentioned above and weigh them. I'd like to mention as well that you can always make some modifications to it, for instance because I am lactose intolerant, I used vegan butter (that's why it looks white) instead of the usual dairy butter. Also by all means you can reduce the amount of sugar because it's a HUGE amount and you can make it healthier as you wish.

Now that you have weighed all the ingredients, place the dark chocolate and the butter in one bowl and put it in the microwave for about 3 minutes to melt. If a microwave is not available, place them on a burner.
Once you've achieved a creamy consistency like the one above, it is time to just put the other ingredients except the eggs in and start mixing. You can always add to the texture anything that you would like to.
Now that you're ready and you've achieved that, crack those eggs and beat them - (if you don't know how to, trust me and seize for some help, or you'll end up with your egg smashed on your carpet or so) and add them to the mixture and once more mix it altogether.

The next step is to put the texture in the baking tin with the baking sheet on top so that it would be easier to get the brownie out and and it will not stick to the tin. (What I do with the baking sheet is that I put it under running water before I place it in, so that it will take the shape of the tin easily). Place the mixture all nice and evenly and pop it in the oven.
We can move on for the uninteresting part of the whole baking thing - washing those dirty dishes, which I tend to leave them for my brother to do. Instead, in the meantime I like to watch some YouTube videos, or read some blog posts or just play a game on my iPad.

30-35 minutes have passed, and it's time for the one big brownie to come out of the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. At this time you will be tempted to taste the brownie, but I am assuring you that it's not worth to try (you will burn your tongue and when the brownie is nice and cool to eat you will not taste it). Once it has cooled down, take a knife and cut into 16 pieces, place it on a plate with some ice-cream or strawberries or yogurt or you can just leave it plain like I did and start digging in. Trust me when I say, they are delicious.

Disclaimer: I am not your excuse if you went up a dress size, control yourself! haha.
I hope that you enjoyed this recipe and try it yourself and if you do so please instagram me your pictures using the #casualscrollingsbrownies because I'm a nosy and like to see what other people come up with.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

REVIEW: The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask

Whenever I am beauty shopping I always keep an eye out for the next big thing to help me with my skin problems, in my case: blemishes, redness and oily skin. A few weeks ago I bought this Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask from The Body Shop to help me out when things get rough.
This mask was originally created for people with combination/oily skin but I have read a good amount of reviews loving this for normal skin. The active ingredient in this mask is the bladderwrack seaweed which is known to have powerful antioxidant and antibacterial properties. The mask looks like thick green/blue/grey -ish mud and has a thick grainy consistency that goes a long way. Only a little product is needed to cover the whole face. The scent can come off rather strong when opening the lid so I'm guessing it's not for everyone - although when put on the face the scent is quite unnoticeable. Considering it is in a pot, I have to use a Popsicle stick in avoiding transferred bacteria.

The mask dries fast onto the skin (between 2-3 minutes) and make your pores look ginormous. Immediately I start to get a tight feeling, making me helpless to speak or smile. I tend to keep it on for 20 minutes rather than the recommended 10 minutes.
The Body Shop states that it can be used up to twice weekly, but I find that once a week is enough for my skin. Also because I like to use a Tea Tree oil mask for my blemishes throughout the week. After I rinsing out the mask (usually with a rather wet, soft face cloth because I find it hard to remove with my hands), I pat it dry and I immediately afterwards see a huge difference to my skin. It feels softer, cleaner and the redness fade away. Moreover, blemishes seem to dry faster which is a major bonus.
Excuse the poker face - it's really hard to smile with it on the face.

You can see how ginormous this mask makes my pores look like.
    The Good:
-purifies, refreshes, and smoothes the skin.
    -gets rid of excess oil.
    -reduces black heads.
-fades redness and help blemishes to dry faster.

    The Bad:
    -strong chemical/clay scent.
-takes a long time to wash off.
-can't talk or smile when with it on your face because it might gunk all over the place (obviously when applying clay masks).

In conclusion, this mask works great as clarifying and detoxifying mask for people with combination/oily skin. Do use it on oily skin parts since it will dry it even more. You can get this mask from any TBS store or online for £12 (also at the moment they have a huge sale - 40% off everything).

Hope you'll find this useful. Have a good day!

Book Review: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

I am not a big reader.

    Proof?!
I can count the books I've read over the past 18 years on one hand -
    The Hunger Games
    The Hunger Games Catching Fire
The Perks of being a Wallflower and
    The Fault in Our Stars.

One can note that from the title of the books, I have just started reading from the previous year? And let me tell you - it's a great improvement for me.

It's not that I don't love books, it's just that I prefer watching the movie of the book rather than reading it myself. I know that a lot of you might probably disagree with me on this one, but I don't seem to connect with the characters in the way I do when watching the movie.

While reading, my brain tend to depart to another planet, in space actually which will take minutes to snap back into reality. Because of this I tend to take about a month or even more to finish one single book of about 300 pages. So, yeah this is why I prefer to watch a 2 hours or even 4 movie, than spending the same exact time reading.

But I think that John Green has just changed it all.

I've been wanting to buy this book from the moment it was published (I like to collect books, just so they look pretty on my bookshelf?! shh..) and for some reason I have waited until last month to do so.
I was determined to start reading it at that exact moment and in fact I did. I read about 30 pages in one day but then I just left it there. My friend, Elaine (you can check her blog here) bought the book a day after I did and she finished it in maybe one and a half weeks, maybe less and she practically spent the whole month pushing me to read it, so that we could talk about it and fangirling.

It was until yesterday that I've picked it up again.

I typed - audible.com (if you do not know what this is, it's basically a page from amazon where you can pay a few £ and download your audiobook, meaning having someone to read it for you instead of reading it yourself) in Google, clicked on the link and searched for The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I heard the sample and thankfully the voice was feminine and soft - a voice that you could hear all day without getting a headache. I downloaded the app on my iPad and downloaded the audiobook from it.

    The Review.

I knew that the characters were terminal that it is a sad book and that's what it got me more into the book. For a good portion of the book I found myself tittering at Hazel and Augustus' dry humor. The first half was predominantly light-hearted and cheerful, despite the glum situation the characters were in. Even when things got more serious, the humor was subtle. If I could describe it, I'd compare it to a grandparent making a joke about their looming death. It's a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but peculiarly reassuring that it's possible to joke about something so morbid.

The plot was "good" for me, never wowing me or keeping me on the edge of my seat - the usual cancer stories. There weren't many plot twists or "ah ha!" moments because you could tell from the beginning how it continues and how it would end. Despite all of this I did cry, a lot actually but it just wasn't for the characters. It was because the position they were in - because cancer sucks. Do not get me wrong, this is a beautifully written book and I loved reading every bit of it, it's the characters that I question. Are they really teenagers? I mean I know that they are very intelligent and let's face it they spent a lot more time contemplating life than your average teen, but they never felt real to me.

I finished reading the book earlier this morning and I cried and sobbed and cried and sobbed even more, but it didn't leave the same effect that A Walk to Remember, 50,50 or Now is Good have left. After watching these I spent most of my days really sad and heartbroken - having no courage at all to talk to people.
But this might be because I have read the book and not watch it (as previously explained). I have to wait until June then to find out.

Read this book? No?! Grab your copy and start reading it, it's worth a read.
(If you don't want to buy the book, you can read it as a pdf from here)

Hope this helped you in any ways possible.

    I Need Help.

Okay. I have been sitting here on this chair for about an hour now (and my bum's starting to ache), wondering what can I write about for today's post.

    I don't feel writing about:
    -a beauty/hair product review, or
    -a haul, or
    -a skincare routine.

Basically I want to write a fun post.

And I questioned myself: "What do I love almost as beauty and fashion?"
This is what I came up with.

Hi. My name is Krystabelle, 18 years old and apart from being a beauty AND a fashion shopaholic, I am also a TV addict. Yes. Like every other teenager out there, I guess. I spend 85% of my day laying in my bed, with my computer in my laps, watching some kind of series.

Now, I like to watch anything that catches my eyes, I'm not that picky when it comes to movies/tv shows - black and white movies, old movies, sci-fi, anything, but like every other person I have my own opinions and favorites. Theme wise, I love anything, action, thriller, horror, dark comedy, psychological, mysterious, crime or drama related. I am not the rom-com kind of girl, I mean I watch them but I don't ENJOY watching them as much as when I  am watching a horror movie or a series.

(This might sound a bit strange but when I'm watching something I would want to feel it - living it myself if possible, in the sense of I want to feel what the character is feeling at that exact moment - depressed, terrified and so on. And all of this does not happen in Romantic Comedies and I will tell you why. They all have the same plot - a guy meets a girl in a romantic place, their eyes meet and they fall in love with each other, something bad happens which leads them to break up and then one of them (usually the guy) realizes that he has just lost the love of his life 1 minute before she has to catch a flight or something and miraculously he will arrive at the airport on time or even stop the plane if the director feels like it and will live happily ever after. Am I correct? Isn't this what always happens in rom-coms?)

I have a feeling that this is going to be a long one which I honestly don't expect you to be reading every single bit of it - it might get boring half way through it, but you can take a quick look to what you can watch next or see if anyone else's like to watch what you like. I love doing this when I need something new to watch.

As a TV addict I am always searching for something new to watch. And these ladies and gentlemen, are the current favourite TV series that I am watching (in alphabetical order - because I can't really choose which one I like the most sorry!).

    ♥ 90210 (2008 - 2013)
    Themes: Comedy, Drama, Romance
    Seasons: 5
    My Rating: 7.5

This series is somewhat a re-do of the 90210, Beverly Hills (1990). Now, this is not my usual series to watch but I liked it anyway. It is something similar to Gossip Girl but better - a whole lot better! It is about two siblings from Kansas who relocates themselves in Beverly Hills. They encounter a lot of drama but it was pleasant to watch and even exciting. Also, for the ladies out there - you get to see Matt Lanter in a swimsuit a lot! haha.

Despite the magnificent story throughout the five seasons that they aired, I think that they could have done much better with the ending - It was quite cheesy and there was neither an unexpected twist nor a climax. Everyone saw it coming.

    ♥ Arrow (2012 - present)
    Themes: Action, Adventure, Crime
    Seasons: 3
    My Rating: 8.1

This is like a superhero kind of series. It is about a spoiled billionaire playboy, let me rephrase that: a really good-looking, spoiled billionaire playboy, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) who gets missing and presumed dead when his yacht gets lost at sea. He then returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante (which I think it's quite lame having just a hood to cover his face, until later in season 3, everyone could have identified him) armed with a bow.

I love this show, but for some reason I tend to leave it for when I completely don't have anything else to watch. And then when I do start watching, I get frustrated when I finish them all and have to wait a week or so to watch the next episode. Yes, it's a strange thing.

    ♥ Bates Motel (2013 - present)
    Themes: Horror, Mystery, Thriller
    Seasons: 2
    My Rating: 9.5

Now this is a new one for me and it has definitely made it in my top 5 series already. It was also in my March Favorites. Apparently this series is a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film "Psycho". It gives a portrayal of how Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore - couldn't believe my eyes how much Charlie -from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or August Rush has grown!) psyche unravels through his teenage years. The audience discover the dark, twisted back-story of Norman and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga), truly is.

If you ask me, this series is not a "horror" kind of series, it just hooks you up tremendously with your screen and gives you a tiny scare every now and then - maybe 5 times in one season?!. I cannot recommend this series to you all enough. Stop whatever you're doing right now and go give it a look! It's worth a watch.

♥ Beauty and the Beast (2012 - present)
    Themes: Drama, Thriller
    Seasons: 2
My Ratings: First season I give it an 8.7, now?! I'd probably give it a 6.8

Well I seriously loved the first season - especially that scar on Vincent Keller's (Jay Ryan) face but now the scar's gone and even the story, it got to the point that it's not that interesting anymore.

This show is about a detective - Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk), which by the way she is gorgeous, couldn't find anyone else to do the Beauty part, whom is shaken to the core over the fact that everything she thought she knew about her life has been a total lie. She is determined to get answers to the secrets that have been revealed about her family. In the meantime, Cat must also try to navigate her evolving relationship with the handsome doctor - Vincent Killer, who struggles with becoming a terrifying beast when he is enraged, unable to control his super-strength and heightened senses. They desire to be a normal couple while trying to keep a low profile in order to stay one step ahead from the enemy known as - Muirfiel - a mysterious organisation which now is on the hunt for both of them.

    ♥ Breaking Bad (2008 - 2013)
    Themes: Crime, Drama, Thriller
    Seasons: 5
My Ratings: This might seem cheesy but I am going to give this a 10.

Okay. This show right here, yeah this one, kept me awake for approximately 48-50 hours. I watched this all at once - I couldn't sleep knowing that I haven't finished the series yet. It is THAT GOOD. I know that a lot of you might be criticizing the fact and so on, but I am honestly telling the truth. I ate in my bed, I took the computer with me in the bathroom while taking a bath - I seriously became obsessed with this from the first episode.

This show made me feel sad, frustrated, depressed, sometimes disgusted, made me curse a little and made cry and laugh at the same instance a lot. These are the feelings that I like to get when watching something. This is why I watched the whole show in two days and gave it a 10 stars. WONDERFUL SHOW! Good job to Vince Gilligan for being such a genius and creating such a spectacular show.

    The background story.
A Chemistry genius, high school teacher, Mr. Walter White (Bryan Cranston) teams up with a remarkably good-looking ex-student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) to cook and sell the world's purest crystal met, after he (Walter) gets diagnosed with lung cancer, to provide money for his family's future. The ending?! Stunning! I am not going to say anything else, just go watch it if you haven't already (which make me questioning you whether you've been living under a rock for these past year or so?)!

    ♥ Gossip Girl (2007 - 2012)
    Themes: Drama, Romance
    Seasons: 6
    My Ratings: 4.2

This show - omg! I hate this show more than anything in the world. I am so sorry if you like it but seriously how can you? It's the most dramatic show that I have ever seen, and by dramatic I mean, in the bad way.

This show is about some privileged "teens" (they DO NOT look like teens) living on the Upper East side of New York City.

I do not know how I watched 5 entire seasons of it! FIVE!! My "friend" used to watch it and I kind of got into it at that moment just so we could have something to talk about. But seriously? How did I watch almost the whole show?!

    ♥ Glee (2009 - present)
    Themes: Comedy, Drama, Music
    Seasons: 5
    My Ratings: 6.8

Will this ever end? I used to love watching it, but I stopped at the end of season 4, it just got a bit boring and honestly I don't love watching musical shows. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Disney movies and Musical movies (like Moulin Rouge - my all time favorite musical) but in a show, I don't quite dig it.

So without further rambling, this show is about a group of ambitious misfits who try to escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club - which by the way it is considered as the "lame" club in the show. In this group they find strength, acceptance and ultimately their voice, while working to pursue dreams of their own.

(Also I would like to show my respect for Cory Monteith's fans who has passed away last year.)

    ♥ New Girl (2011 - present)
    Themes: Comedy
    Seasons: 3
    My Ratings: 8.1

Seriously, this is the only comedy I watch. It's light weighting and I just love watching it (also my all time favorite actress - Zooey Deschanel is a main actress in it so, that sums it up).

After a bad break-up, Jess (Zooey Deschanel), an offbeat young woman who is also a teacher, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior quite unusual, the men support her - at least most of the time.

    ♥ Pretty Little Liars (2010 - present)
    Themes: Drama, Mystery, Thriller
    Seasons: 4
My Ratings: Cheesy again - a 10 for me.

This is seriously one of the best shows ever made as well. 10 minutes in the first episode of the first season and I am already sucked in the TV show.

Four friends (all of which are girls) band together after they've been separated for about a year, against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their darkest secrets, while unraveling the mystery of the murder of their best friend. I am not going to say anything else because I don't want to spoil it for you but trust me, you might have to take a week off and watch it. (I've re-watched it like two times now, and I have just started my third time). Search for clues guys!
My favorite from the girls has always been Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) - she looks stunning in every episode, I love her character and how she doesn't get into drama as much as the other three and oh my, I wish I could rock her clothes like she does!

    ♥ Supernatural (2005 - present)
    Themes: Drama, Fantasy, Horror
    Seasons: 9
    My Ratings: 9.8 (cheeky, haha)

I have a little story behind this, that I didn't know it all quite existed until last week haha. So, basically I started watching this (at least that's what I thought) from my first year in college through one of my best friends in the world. But stopped watching it after the 5th episode - "Bloody Mary". It was too much to handle at that time and maybe it still is - I don't know why, I love horror movies, but I can't stand it when mirrors get involved I get too scared. But anyway. Then continued watching it after maybe 9 months or so.
So last Sunday, my aunt visited and I was catching up with the last episode of it and she told me that the actors are definitely not new to her. After the whole episode she remembered. She said that she used to watch it with me when she was pregnant with her third child. Like seriously? How can I forget? I guess back then (maybe when I was like 12/13) I wasn't that much into men like I am nowadays haha.

Onto the actual reason you're here now.

This is about two brothers known as the Winchesters (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) who follow their father's footsteps as hunters, fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons and gods that roam the earth.

This is one of my favorite shows as well, and do not worry 9 seasons aren't that much considering you get to see Jensen Ackles in every episode and soon after Misha Collins. Also I would like to include the fact that loads of people think that this show does not have a story, well that's what I thought when I first watched the first season, but then the story will start building up don't worry. And prepare for the laughter. Misha and Jensen are quite something together. If you don't know what I am talking about just click here and you'll get into it haha.

    ♥ Teen Wolf (2011 - present)
    Themes: Comedy, Drama, Horror
    Seasons: 3
    My Ratings: 8.4

Let me just start by saying - it IS NOT  a horror show, I don't know why it is listed as horror. Thriller, yes! Horror, not even close! I started watching this in January and I loved it from the second I watched.

A somewhat awkward teen gets attacked by a werewolf, Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) and inherits the curse itself, as well as the enemies that come with it, and trust me there's a lot.
(If you're a constant reader of my blog then you may know that one of my guinea pigs is named after him - Derek haha, you can read all about it here)

If you've never heard about this, Dylan O'Brien , is a main actor as Styles Stilinski, which makes the show even better. haha

    ♥ The Following (2013 - present)
    Themes: Crime, Drama, Mystery
    Seasons: 2
    My Ratings: 9.3

This was suggested to me by a colleague, and oh my, am I grateful to him? If you like crimes and mysteries then this show is the one for you. It has everything.

It is about a brilliant and may I just emphasize the word - Brilliant, and charismatic, yet psychotic serial killer, Joe Caroll (James Purefoy) who communicates with other active serial killers and activates a cult of believers following his every command, with Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) on his trails.

    ♥ The Vampire Diaries (2009 - present)
    Themes: Drama, Fantasy, Horror
    Seasons: 5
My Ratings: At the beginning 8.9, now 7.2 or even less.

I don't think that I have to explain this series in much detail, because I know that it is a well known show among you. First of all I think that you all agree with me that the horror theme does not apply here either.

Basically it is about a high school girl (who gets on everyone's nerve by trying to be a heroic human being), Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) who is torn between two hot vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder).
(Team Stelena over here, I'm sorry Delena fans. haha.)

    ♥ The Walking Dead (2010 - present)
    Themes: Drama, Horror, Thriller
    Seasons: 4
    My Ratings: 9.1

Now this is a horror show. Not the can't sleep for a whole week kind of horror, but the sneaking around kind of horror. It is maybe a guy show to watch but love me some zombies. This is a great one everybody, if you're searching for a Zombie Apocalypse kind of show, this is the one. Zombies? Scary enough, almost real!

It's all about the zombies this one. A police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) leads a group of survivors, losing some along the way, in a world overrun by zombies.

So these, ladies and gentlemen, are the shows that I am currently watching - quite a lot I know, but for someone who has nothing better to do in life this is just a few. I hope that I helped you a bit in choosing your next show to watch, if not, then I am so sorry.

These three other shows are on my list to watch next: (what do you think of them, good/bad?)
-White Collar (actually I've already seen the first episode and I loved it)
    -Once Upon a Time
    -Orange is the New Black

I know that a lot of you like the idea of watching series online, and like you this is what I used to do before I started downloading the episodes. I used to use - letmewatchthis.com, but now I am downloading each episode from kickass.to. I started downloading them because at uni we have a crappy internet and I used to end up wasting 4 hours free trying to watch ONE episode - it was hell! So with downloaded episodes I can watch them whenever and wherever I want.

Also before I leave, a good website that helps you keep track of your favorite shows - which episodes you've watched and which you haven't already, when's your next episode due and so on, is this one right here:

If you have any good shows similar or even different than the ones I've mentioned do let me know in the comments below. I love watching new shows!

    Thank you for your time.
