A New Discovery.

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

How are you doing today?
Have you ever wondered from where your favorite actors buy their clothes? I know I do! I was looking around on the interwebs and I encountered a lovely website that maybe a lot of you already know about it and if you don't this is going to be your best friend from now on. It is called Worn on Tv.

When I found this little website I couldn't wait to share it with you wonderful readers. As indicated from the website title itself, it has to do with TV Shows (serieses) and clothes. One can choose his/her own favorite series and see what the actresses were wearing on the episode chosen. Sometimes there's the exact match of the outfit and also the dupes for it which might be a more affordable choice.

Some of the serieses that are on the website that I really love to watch are: Pretty Little Liars, Arrow, New Girl, Carrie Diaries, The Vampire Diaries, Beauty and The Beast, Teen Wolf and there are much more that you might watch and wondering from where you can buy the piece that the wonderful actresses are wearing in the episode specified.

Did you know about this website? Do you like it as much as I do?

Comment your thoughts below in the comments section. Thank you for your time.

More Damage?!

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

I know two posts in one day - Shocker right! But I thought I would slip in another beauty haul because I like to share with you guys my purchases. I went a little shopping two days ago and this happened.

First I went to The Body Shop and I purchased these five items:

1. The Body Shop Chocomania Body Lotion - £8.00
This was on sale when I bought it and I think that it still is, if you have a Body Shop anywhere close to you make sure to get this and this is why - It has a chocolate scent more than chocolate does, it really moisturizes your skin, it leaves your skin glowing and beautiful and the smell of the chocolate stays on you for a pretty long time. WARNING: You might eat yourself!

I haven't tried this mascara yet because I still have two mascaras open and I don't like to open too much because when you don't use them they tend to dry quite easily and we don't want that. So if you would like me to review this in the future just let me know and I will be happy to do so.

This is a miracle worker. I used this as soon as I purchased it on some blemishes that I have on my face before I went to sleep and when I woke up they were already fading. I recommend this immensely. It doesn't have to be a Body Shop one, any Tea Tree Oil can do but this is amazing!

This thing right here - smells good, tastes good, it moisturizes your lips and leaves them so soft and kissable ;). It even gives a cute pinky shade to your lips so if you don't want to bother with lip gloss or lipstick you can just put this on with your fingers and you're good to go.

5. The Body Shop Organic Cotton Square Pads x50 - £2.50
I've been trying to find some good quality and quite large cotton pads for ages now and lately I was told that the Body Shop has some good cotton pads and I finally bought some. I already used them twice and they are amazing, all you need is one and you can remove/cleanse your whole face with it easily without using too much cotton pads. I definitely recommend these to you if you're still searching for some like I was.

Then I went in a pharmacy and there was five of my favorite drugstore brands - Maybelline, Rimmel, Max Factor, L'Oreal and Revlon, and I bought something from each brand.

This was in my wish list for ages but whenever I go on the Feelunique website or walk into a store and search for it, it always has been Out of Stock. But not this time - this was the last one there standing all by herself and I just wanted to give her a home with the other three. I already wore it ones but it was quite of a disappointment, I don't know if it's just mine or every ones is like this but it is a bit sheer, not that pigmented as the other two are. It looked as if I have nothing on my eye lid but when I put some Hustle (from the Naked Palette) in my crease, it started to show a little and it was lovely.

I have to stay that this was a bit of a disappointment for me. When I swatched it in the store it looked amazing but when I actually tried it at home on my lips, I didn't like it. It looked patchy and for some reason it turned out to be very dark while in the store it wasn't. Maybe the effect of the lights changed it up a bit.

This one has a really nice, doll look color. I love it on days when I don't want my lips to be out there. The only thing that I don't particularly like about it is that it is a little bit sticky but other than that just gorgeous. Definitely going to try more colors from this range.

9. Rimmel Match Perfect Foundation in the shade 200 Soft Beige - £6.99
I haven't tried this yet but I know that it is going to be amazing because I heard so many good things about it last year! Also when I swatched the color on my skin it matched perfectly which is a bonus I guess.

I already own two other shades from this brand and I love them to bits. The others are both dark shades and so I wanted to try a nude shade and this looks perfect for Spring/Summer. Can't wait to have it all over my nails.
So, that's all for today's beauty haul post and I hope that you liked some of my products.

What's your favorite product from this haul? Do you own anything from these? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time,

Baking a Lemon Drizzle Cake.

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

I watched Tanya Burr's baking video with Zoella a couple of days ago (if you didn't watch it, make sure to check it out because it's hilarious) and I decided to try it out today because they said that it's Delicious and it looked pretty amazing as well.

It is a pretty simple recipe to do and if you want you can check Tanya's video to see what you need and how to do it but I as well am going to include the ingredients and the simple method here.

You will need these utensils:
- a Kitchen Aid (Stand Mixer)
- a Measuring Scale
- Grater
- Juicer
- a Baking Tin
- a Baking Sheet

You will need these ingredients:
- 3 large Eggs
- Lemon Zest
- 170g Self-Raising Flour
- 170g Caster Sugar
- 170g Butter
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 110g Icing Sugar
- 2 Lemons

The Method:
- Preheat the oven (180 degrees Celsius).
- Before you start mixing the ingredients together, measure all the ingredients on the measuring scale, sift the flour with a sifter, grate the lemon zest with a grater and cut the butter into small pieces.
- Crack the eggs into the kitchen aid mixing bowl. Add the flour, sugar, butter, lemon zest and baking powder.
- Once you've put all the ingredients in the mixing bowl, switch on the kitchen aid and turn it to a minimum speed for about 2 minutes. Once all the ingredients are kind of mixed together, set to maximum speed and leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes until the batter is smooth.
- In the meantime you can spread some butter over the baking tin or you can just place a baking sheet so the cake will not stick to it.
- Once the batter is ready, pour it into a tin and place it in the oven and leave it for about 30 - 45 minutes, checking on it every now and then with a skewer.
- In the meantime you can start making the drizzle. Place the icing sugar into a bowl and add the lemon juice of the two lemons. Mix the two ingredients together until you end up with a nice liquidy drizzle.
- When the cake is ready, leave it to cool for about 15 minutes and place it on the serving plate. Make some holes with a knife or with a skewer depending on how much you like the lemon taste. Decorate it as you wish and you can serve it with tea or however you wish.

Pretty simple huh?! I am eating it while I'm writing and it's almost gone! It is THAT GOOD. If you haven't tried it yet, you should because it tastes amazing and it is so soft. Thank you Tanya for this amazing recipe.

If you tried it or you want to try it, tweet the pictures to me @CasualScrolling so that I can see how yours turned up.

Also if you have changed something in the batter or added some other ingredients let me know in the comments below.

Feelunique Beauty Haul.

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

I wonder if there are any guys out there reading some beauty blogs - I really would like to know haha.

I was a bit naughty last week - Went a bit nuts on the Feelunique website and bought some stuff and thought I would share them with you wonderful people. Also I already used some of these products so I can give you a general overview on them but if you would like me to review any product in particular just let me know :).

This cleansing water is very popular among a lot of Beauty Bloggers and I am one of them. Since I discovered this cleansing water I had never cheated on it with someone else haha - only with the Body Shop one because I wanted to try something else and I liked it but NOT the way I love this one. It has a nice kind of grape scent but nothing too over powering and it definitely leaves your face feeling fresh and like it's brand new. It does the job - in the sense that it cleans your face from all the make up that you put on to make you look even more pretty in no time and this is one of the reasons that I really love it because who loves washing, cleansing, moisturizing and so on before going to sleep? Let's be honest here. I promise you that this is a must in your skin care collection.

Well, this ladies and gentlemen? Apparently, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ AGAIN. Why? - you may ask. It is because I am definitely not a fan of lavender and floral scented things. You may know if you read My Current Skincare/Nighttime Routine that I bought by accident the Cath Kidston Rose and Peony Handcream and I hated the smell at first and for the second time, I did it again.

I was in need of a new toner to shrink my pores and the first person I recalled to was - Tanya Burr
She recommended this and bought it at that exact moment. I really look up to her and she never gives us wrong advices or recommends us horrible products and she didn't in this case as well, because overall it is a good product. But the smell of the lavender is so strong that I have to close my two nostrils when applying it, so if you are NOT a lavender fan - DO NOT buy this toner but if you think that you can  handle it do so because apart from the smell, it is a really good toner. It closes and redefines your pores and also my skin seems happier.

3. Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue - £16.20
I haven't tried this product yet because I don't need to right now as under my eyes are not sore at the moment. But I read really good reviews about this product and that is why it caught my eye. It is a bit expensive for a little tube of 15ml but you only need a tiny little drop so you won't use up the whole tube in two days and also I think that it's worth the money.

4. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise EverRiche Nourishing Intense Mask - £6.99
I actually used this amazing mask earlier today. It has the nicest smell - Camelina and Apricot Seed although I kind of think that it smells of chocolate, I don't know why but it kind of does. I bought this mask because I have very dry hair because of the dye and the A LOT of blow drys that I give to my hair and also because I have thick hair. After I washed my hair with my shampoo, I just simply put some of this mask onto my hand and messaged it into my hair giving more importance to the ends and left it for about 10 minutes and lastly I rinsed it out. It left my hair feeling so soft and with a fresh scent that I wanted to marry my hair haha.

I have to blame Estee from Essie-Button on this purchase because she's been raving on this product for a large number of decades haha. But really, it is one of the most lovely highlighters that I have ever tried. It is the perfect highlighter - it is a champagne colored highlighter, it has a very smooth texture and highly pigmented.

I haven't tried this yet, but when I swatched it on the back of my hands it was gorgeous - the color is  perfect for my skin and hope that it has a nice coverage. It does not highlight your spots and so you can use it over spots and blemishes that you might have on your lovely face. I will write a full review of this as soon as I start using it and give you my thoughts about it.

I already own two shades from this range - Celestial and Big Bang and I adore them both and I wanted to try some other shades. I read some reviews and watched some swatches and decided to buy this little one right here. In no surprise it was a really dark plummy color which I like but definitely NOT for daily use because it is way to dark for my taste but for a night out I think that this color would be perfect!

The Real Techniques brushes are a MUST HAVE in your brush collection. I already own the Expert Face Brush for foundation and it was feeling a bit lonely and so I bought these two other brushes. I use the Stippling Brush for foundation, but I will definitely stick to my Expert Face Brush because it kind of hurt my face with the "spikes" - it is not as soft as the Expert Face Brush. And I use the tiny Setting Brush for highlighter and concealer and it is AMAZING! I really like this last brush.

So, these are the new nine items that just joined my Beauty/Skincare collection.
As previously said: if you have your eye on one or two or all of these products just let me know in the comments below and I will write a full review about them.

If you like these kind of posts let me know in the comments below for future posts ;)

Do you own any of these products? What do you think?

Getting To Know Me Tag!

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

How are you today? I hope that you had a lovely, relaxing Sunday. I know I did!
All I did today was - drinking tea and reading a book by one of my all time favorite writers Nicholas Sparks - A Bend in the Road. I don't usually read that much because I don't have much time on my hands but one of my resolutions for this Year (2014) is actually - READ A LOT MORE. And for now it has been going quite well!

Yankee Candle (which hasn't been burned yet although Christmas is over) - Sparkling Cinnamon and the Mug is from Blush and Panic

When I realized that I spent the whole day in bed reading (about two minutes ago), I thought I would write a blog post and I realised that you don't really know much about me since I'm quite new in this whole blogging thing and found this tag and thought that it would be a nice thing to do.

So, the questions are these:

  • Do you have a middle name?
Yes I do and it is - Katerina after my granny (dad's mother). I don't quite like it but I can't do much about it haha.
  • What was your favorite subject in school?
Physics, Maths and Italian.
  • What's your favorite drink?
Tea and Vodka Cranberry
  • What's your favorite song at the moment?
  • What would you name your children?
I don't really would like to have kids but if I decide to have any I would really love to have two boys and a little girl with the names - Caspar Lee (I know who he is! but actually I chose that name before I even knew that he existed - mind fuck right? ), Castiel (for the angel of Supernatural - best series ever!) and Alex (just because I really like this name on a girl).
  • Do you participate in any sports?
Laziness - does this count?
  • What's your favorite book?
Well, as I already explained I don't read much and when I do I tend to read the first few pages and stop but the only series of books that I managed to read in a week are - The Hunger Games books. Oh my! Those books kept me so attached to them that I worried everyone haha.
  • What's your favorite color?
In general, I like black. But then I really like pastel colors.
  • What's your favorite animal?
Seriously this is the most frustrating question till now because I'm an animal lover! But if I have to choose I'll go with cats, dogs and birds.
  • What's your favorite perfume?
Honey by Marc Jacobs and Chloe by Chloe.
  • What's your favorite time of year?
From Autumn till Christmas.
  • Have you been out of the country?
I've once went to Sicily but I really would love to travel the world.
  • Do you speak any other languages?
Well, I speak my own language - Maltese, and then obviously I can speak English, and I know two other languages - Italian (which I can speak quite fluently) and French (which I can speak a little bit and understand only if it is written haha).
  • Do you have any siblings?
Yes I do. I have a younger brother named Gabriel.
  • What's your favorite shop?
Topshop and New Look for fashion and Feelunique as an online shopping for beauty.
  • What's your favorite food?
It has to be chicken nuggets - I eat them like a three year old (shameful I know) and Sushi.
  • What's your favorite movie?
Really? This is so hard :( There's just so many;
The Notebook, Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Saw (all of them), and a lot more. And I also have to include 21 Jump Street haha - I saw it yesterday and it was so hilarious and I liked it so much. I don't know how I liked it because I don't like comedies at all but it was amazing.
  • What are some of your favorite Tv Shows?
Supernatural (Dean and Castiel <3 they make my heart skip a beat haha) The Following (and today there's the first episode of season 2 eek!), Pretty Little Liars and Ravenswood, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries, Arrow, The Walking Dead, Suits, BREAKING freakin BAD, and much more.
  • What phone do you have?
Do I really have to answer this question? I have a disgusting - HTC Cha Cha which I am going to change in no time!
  • How tall are you?
5"3. Hooray for shortness! -.-
  • Any pets?
I have a Cockatiel bird whom I really love and his name is Lady. I know what you're thinking - how does he have a woman's name? And the answer is this - he is gay and I have proof! He killed his be-loving wife after 2 days and married a bird who has the same sex as his (who then had to move out of his life because he found a home), so yeah! Funny story for you there!
Well, this is him, the one and only - Lady! And he's loving the camera haha.

Also I have a cute little dwarf rabbit (mind you she's no little - she has the size of a normal rabbit haha) and her name is Cupcake and a hamster called Ms.Malfie who ate her two kids.
  • Any kids?
I don't even have a man in my life, so the answer is no and I'm only 18 so I don't see kids in my future for at least 8 more years.
  • If you weren't you, would you be your friend?
I hope so haha.
  • What's the first thing you notice about people?
Well, I quite judge people from their appearance and that's very NOT ok! And it's actually in my resolutions for this year as well - Do NOT judge people before you even talk to them. I don't socialize a lot and I don't like people - is it really bad? I'm just not confident when people are around me. So the first thing I'll notice about people is the way they dress, the way they talk, the way they look at you and the way they walk.
I would like to say that I am not a bad person, not at all actually and I love my friends (who actually I judged a lot before I knew them) but I'm really strange and I don't like that about me and I am willing to change it.
  • What is your eye color?
Dark brown.
  • Scary movies or happy endings?
I hate happy endings they are so cheesy and they always have the same plot. I am definitely a scary movie kind of girl and movies with a sad and twisted ending.
  • Favorite smells?
All men's perfumes/aftershaves anything that has a manly scent, the smell of banana shampoo and candy scented candles.
  • Do you have any special talents?
I can sleep for a whole 24 hours or I can stay awake for a whole 24 hours - does this count?
  • Where were you born?
In St. James Hospital, Malta. But I really wish I was born on a plane or on a ship.
  • What are your hobbies?
Sleeping, trying new beauty products, shopping and blogging.

So these were a lot of questions but I had fun answering them. I hope that after reading this you can say that you know me a bit more since you didn't know anything about me.
If you would like to do this tag, you are more than free to do so and also I would love you to answer one or two questions from above and put them in the comments below.

Have a lovely night everybody.

The 2013 Beauty Awards.

Hello my beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

FINALLY IT IS HERE! But better late than never huh?
It was pretty difficult for me to choose the best of my collection because I tend to stick with a look for a pretty long time and every now and then I change some bits and pieces depending on the season. So here are the products that take the awards for the Year 2013

Who have not yet raved about this foundation? Personally, this foundation is the best drugstore foundation that one can buy. It is a full coverage foundation, stay for a long time, it is not cakey and definitely makes your face glow. I purchased this foundation twice this year and as you can see I need another one. Definitely recommend this if you're just starting your make up collection.

This concealer is amazing for under the eyes and as written on the bottle, it gives that natural glow and makes your eyes pop out more. And as you can see I give this concealer a large amount of love. I don't personally use it on spots because of the glow it gives, instead of covering them it makes them show more. For the spots I usually use the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Peach

I was introduced to this MAGNIFICENT powder by the one and only Tanya Burr. It is the most amazing powder that I've ever used. All you need is a teeny tiny little bit on your brush and you're good to go. I carry this little one everywhere, and when I say everywhere I mean everywhere. Because I have normal to oily combination skin (at least that's what I think haha), I have to reapply it throughout the day and it literally saves my life.

I don't always use this Bronzer/Contouring kit because I like to change it depending on how much bronzed I want to be. I usually use this in Summer and when I'm travelling or on holiday because it is a two in one although the highlighter does not cherish much love. This bronzer is highly pigmented - only need a little on your brush or you'll end up with mud on your face.

Stila is one of my top favorite high-end brand and this blush color is amazing. It gives you that nice, sweet look. All you need is a tiny little bit on your brush and Boom! you have the perfect cheeks. It was worth the money and I'm planning to get the other two shades in Bronze and Coral. Also it is perfect for all the seasons but I mostly like to wear it in Spring and Summer, although you can just put a little bit in Winter and it looks like you have been in the cold outside for an hour.

These Maybelline gel-cream eye-shadows are like heaven stuffed in a small pot. This made my life much more easier than it was - I just wake up in the morning put my ring finger in the little pot and smudge it on my eye lid and Ta-da you are done! I own three colors of them, this one, Eternal Gold (-which I don't recommend because it's a disgusting yellow color) and Pink Gold which is a nice pinky shade. I used the bronze one pretty much everyday since I got it and I think that I might hit the pan very soon!

I have the worst lashes ever - when not wearing any eye lashes I feel like that everyone's judging me and asking if I have lashes or not! But this mascara saved my life - LITERALLY! It doesn't smudge, it stays there, and it gives a magnificent length and it's not bad with volume neither.
But this mascara has a little story behind. - At the beginning of last year I was using the Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara in Extreme Black (very similar name to the one I'm using now) and I loved it so much, you can't imagine how. After two months being used, it got dry and needed to buy a new one and bought this one right here by accident and when it arrived I hated it A LOT! Three months later I found it at the bottom of my drawer and gave it another chance and started to loving it and not it is officially my favorite Rimmel mascara.

I know! I know! I am cheating but it's hard to pick just one lipstick for the whole year. I change my lipsticks almost everyday but mostly I like to use the Kate Moss lipstick in Winter/Autumn and the Apocalips one in Spring/summer. They both last for ages on the lips - I only touch them up once in a whole day. The 107 one, since it is matte it sometimes leaves my lips very dry so make sure that before you apply it you moisturize your lips with a nice lip balm of your choice.

As you can see I don't have a favorite eye liner - this is because I never use eyeliner as a pencil or as a liquid. I rather tend to smudge some of the eyeshadow on the lower lash line or use a black/dark brown eyeshadow or using nothing at all. I don't know I do this but I like it much more because it creates a much cleaner and soft look.

So that's all for today's post. Looking back at it, it looks like I'm a Rimmel London Fan! haha. It is true though, I think it's my favorite drugstore brand. They own so many nice products.

Which products were in your 2013 make up awards? Comment them in the section below and also if you would like to, you can leave me the link to the post (if have any) of your best 2013 make up products. I would love to read it.

Outfit of The Day.

Hello beautiful ladies (and gentlemen?),

This morning was quite busy for me and I thought I would take you on the journey with me and show you my outfit of the day (nothing special trust me, but wanted to share anyway).

Firstly, in the morning I had an exam - which I did fail on purpose because I will be changing my course next year. And this is what I was wearing:

Sorry that you can't get hold most of these items but here's the list where the pieces are from:

Plum Knitted Jumper with Black Stripes - New Look
Denim Shirt with small flowers around the collar - New Look (not in stock anymore)
Black Jeggings - Dorothy Perkins
Black Brogues - New Look - £15.99
Lady Bugs Socks - Pull and Bear
Vintage Necklace - Car Boot Sale

Also I wanted to take a picture of my face to show you what make up I was wearing but I ended up taking photos with strange looking faces and this was the most decent one of them all:

Foundation - Revlon Color Stay 24hrs in 320 True Beige
Concealer - Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Soft Beige
Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte Press Powder in 001 Transparent
Eyeshadow - Urban Decay Naked Palette - Sin on eyelid and Toasted in the crease
Mascara - Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara in Extreme Black
Blush - Bourjois Paris France Je T'Aime Limited Edition Vintage Blusher in shade 48 Ashes of Roses
Lipstick - Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial

After the exam was finished, my parents picked me up and decided to go for a nice walk near the "beach" and ended up to be the most beautiful day of this week. On our way back to the car we bought some hot dogs and chips and we ended up feeding the pigeons instead of eating the food ourselves haha, take a look:

I hope that you liked this little post that I decided to do for you. Have a lovely weekend and be safe.

Liebster Award.

A couple of days ago I saw a new notification from the gorgeous and lovely young ladies, StaceyVictoria & ToriLeahKristine, Katie and Kerry saying that they nominated me for the Liebster Award which is like a nice tag which can help your personal blog and helps you discover new blogs.

The answers to the questions that Stacey asked are these:

  • How did you come up with the name of your blog?
It was a bit of a struggle for me because I even find hard to name a pet so yeah, but the answer is that I just really like the word "casual" and then I thought: "What am I going to do with this website? - Blogging", so the name CasualBlogging was born.
  • What blogs do you love reading?
Honestly? Anything that catches my eye - beauty, fashion, book/film/TV shows reviews, anything that one can imagine.
  • What is your favorite brand ever?
Well this is a hard one, it's like asking a mother which son does she love the most. I can't just pick one because I feel like that I may make the other brands feel less competent.
I love Stilla, Urban Decay, Rimmel London, Bourjois, Maybelline and so much more. (sorry for cheating)
  • How long have you been vlogging for?
Erm, I started back in September, but I posted only ones and didn't even look at this page again, it even had a different name but January came and I said to myself - You have to start doing something new in your life that might enjoy doing. And I thought of this blog and I'm determined to keep on posting.
  • If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
In every corner possible! But I mostly would like to go to Paris because I've never been there and everyone have been there, America - all of it, Australia, Dubai, Thailand, Japan anywhere possible! And also I am really looking forward for the day to move to London to follow my dreams.
  • What piece of make up couldn't you live without?
Definitely mascara. My natural eyelashes are DISGUSTING. When I'm not wearing mascara I feel like that everyone's saying - Does she even own eyelashes? So yeah definitely can't live without it.
  • If you had to pick three pieces of make up to wear each day for the rest of your life which would you choose?
Concealer, Mascara and Red/Berry Lipstick - This is my go to look, if I'm in a hurry I just pop these three on my face and I'm good to go.
  • What's your highlight from 2013?
My highlight from the previous year it has to be the fact that I got my A-Levels, because despite the fact of anxiety and tension I did it.
  • Who do you look at for beauty inspiration?
I was firstly inspired by the lovely blogger/youtuber Zoella from the moment she even started her channel but Lana Del Rey has definitely inspired me as well.
  • If you could bring out your own piece of make up, what would it be?
Lipsticks. I think that a small touch of lipstick can make up the whole face.
  • What's your worst fashion disaster?
Oh my! When I was like 14 I used to clip two blonde extensions on the sides of my black hair. Looking back I wonder what I was thinking about!

The answers to the questions that Victoria and Tori asked are these:

  • If you could buy an entire store, what would it be?
Ahh, this is so hard! Ok, I'll cheat a bit here; Fashion related I would buy Zara and Beauty related I would buy Chanel - (definitely 100% sure on this one haha).
  • If I were to give you a plane ticket to anywhere, money aside, where would you go right this second?
At this moment in particular, I would definitely choose to go to England! I really would love to live there in the future.
  • What beauty product absolutely has to be in your bag all the time?
Apart from having loads of lipsticks wandering about at the bottom of my bag all the time, the product that I need all the time with me is by no surprise the - Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This is because throughout the day my skin gets really oily especially in the T zone.
  • What beauty product is your favorite right now?
Right now?! Definitely Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107. I can't go out without it on my lips and I have an excessive amount of lipsticks - I have a problem I know haha.
  • What beauty product did everyone else love but you didn't?
This may be a bit of a shocker, so alarm yourself! The Urban Decay Naked Palette 1. I know, everyone raves about these palettes and love them to bits but I just don't really get it, I don't know why but I will forever stick to my Stila in the Light palette.
  • If you could have any celebrity as your best friend who would it be?
I don't know the answer to this question. There are just so many celebrities that I love! Ok, I think I would love to be best friends with Lucy Hale. I don't know I just always had a girl crush on her haha.
  • What is one beauty product that you wish would come back/you stocked up before it disappeared?
There is nothing in particular on my mind at this moment and I don't think that I have any because when I buy something Limited Edition and when I try it I like it, I just stock up immediately before it disappears.
  • Bold lips or Sultry eyes?
I'm always easy on the eyes but definitely hard on the lips.
  • If you could own one beauty brand what would it be?
Seeing that I already own the whole Chanel, I would love to own the Stila brand just because they are my favorite!
  • How old were you when you began your beauty obsession?
There was always something in me for this love to beauty but it started showing up at around the age of 8. This is when I started to put on my mum's red bold lipstick on my lips and wanted to go to school and everywhere with it! haha
  • Drugstore/Highend Foundation?
As I always say - you get what you pay for so definitely highend foundation. I mean, I own drugstore foundations and I love them but I just use them on a regular basis - mainly in the mornings. I like to save my precious highend ones for the evenings.

The answers to the questions that Leah asked are these:

  • What inspired you to start blogging?
Boredom! Haha. I have a lot of free time on my hands right now and I've always wanted to start my own blog and share my beauty thoughts with you guys and so I just did.
  • Who is your ultimate style icon?
Lana Del Rey.
  • If you could only have one beauty item for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely Mascara. I have the most difficult lashes in the entire world.
  • Straight or curly hair?
When I am lazy I'll just go with straight hair. But I love some loose curls on me!

I really want to migrate to England and live their for the rest of my life!
  • What is your favorite drink?
Tea for an everyday drink and Vodka Cranberry for alcoholic drink.
  • What is your go-to-MakeUp look?

Hopefully graduating as a primary teacher and moving to England.
  • Handbags or Shoes?
Shoes.
  • Describe yourself in 3 words.
Calm, beauty lover.
  • Favorite quality in a person.
A sense of humor.

The answers to the questions that Kristine asked are these:

  • Why do you blog? And what is your ultimate blogging goal?
I always wanted to start a blog and share my beauty thoughts and in the past January when I had some time on my hands, I grabbed a cup of tea and my laptop and started to write.
My ultimate goal is like every other blogger's - Having people that like to read my blog (I don't care how many, because it's not the quantity that matters but the quality).
  • What inspires you?
I'm not the kind of person that I have to feel or see something to inspire myself. If I am willing to work for the things that I want, I will do it. I don't wait for inspiration to come and start doing something.
  • Who is your biggest life inspiration?
Once again, I don't really have an inspiration but I do look up to people who had a terrible life and now they found happiness or even if they are still searching it - I admire them!
  • If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be and why?
Dreamer. Because I have a lot of dreams and I am starting to actually live my dreams.
  • Who is your favorite artist of all time? Who is your favorite artist that is still alive today?
The Beatles. And my favorite still breathing artist it has to be Lana Del Rey.
  • Do you think you lived a past life? If so who and what kind of life did you lead?
I don't know, but if I did I was obviously a sloth just because I'm pretty lazy.
  • What are your three favorite quotes?
Well I don't have actual quotes I guess, they are just some sayings that I say every single day to myself and everyone around me.
  1. We only have one life.
  2. Don't give a sh*t about small things in life.
  3. Live life the way you want to.
  • What 3 things can you not live without right now?
My bed, my laptop and my make up.
  • What is the most important piece of knowledge you've learned so far?
How to make a toast? haha - I'm a terrible cook!!
  • What's your favorite beauty tip?
How to put on false lashes by Tanya Burr.
  • Who's your top 3 favorite bloggers?
Zoella, Tanya Burr, Essie-Button

The answers to the questions that Katie asked are these:

  • Which three products could you not live without?
This one's easy! Concealer, Mascara and Lipstick
  • What is the best book you have read?
Unfortunately I am not a big of a reader, but I did like The Huger Games books!
  • What inspired you to start blogging?
Boredom! Haha. I have a lot of free time on my hands right now and I've always wanted to start my own blog and share my beauty thoughts with you guys and so I just did.
  • Do you prefer gold or silver jewelery?
Definitely Gold!
  • Dress or jeans?
For lazy days I prefer jeans but I do love my dresses!
  • Do you prefer Summer/Spring clothes or Autumn/Winter clothes?
I don't know about you but I love Spring and Autumn clothes just because in Summer you don't actually put on a lot of clothes because of the heat especially here in Malta, and then in Winter you put a lot of clothes and a coat or a jacket on and all the clothes kind of disappear haha. I don't know if you can understand what I mean.
  • Favorite item of clothing in your wardrobe?
No! Only one? Uhh! Maybe my denim jacket? I don't know because I love everything in there!

  • If you could speak another language, what would you like it to be?
I do know 4 languages - Maltese, English, Italian and French! And I seriously love the Italian language and I adore it but since I do know how to speak it quiet fluently and I am nowhere near good in French, I would choose French!
  • If you could would you travel to the future or the past?
I am scared to know what is going to happen to me in the future and I love the 1940's so, definitely to the past!
  • Where is the furthest place you have traveled?
Sicily! Yeah I know but one of my dreams is to travel the whole world and I know that sometime I will pursue it!
  • What is your favorite film?
I have this thing for movies - they either have to make me feel scared or depressed/sad! I don't like romantic comedies or sci-fi! But my all time favorite movie is The Notebook! I know it sounds cheesy but I do like it a lot!

The answers to the questions that Kerry asked are these:
  • What was your favorite beauty product of 2013?
You can read all about them here!
  • Staying in or Going out?
It depends on my mood and the weather! But mostly I like staying in watching movies!
  • Do you have any pet hates?
Doing my hair. My current course at uni. Anyone who chews loudly and with mouth open. Farting and burping. My lack of confidence. Waiting for something to be delivered. Waiting in line. Talking to people on the phone.
  • What is your favorite film?
I have this thing for movies - they either have to make me feel scared or depressed/sad! I don't like romantic comedies or sci-fi! But my all time favorite movie is The Notebook! I know it sounds cheesy but I do like it a lot!
  • What is your dream job and why?
A Maths teacher. I knew it from when I was a little kid that I want to become a teacher. The fact that I have to teach kids what I know and they teach me what they know just overwhelms me! I can't wait to drop out from my current course and start my teaching course.
  • Do you have any siblings?
Yes I have a younger brother named Gabriel.
  • Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla all the way!
  • What made you want to blog?
Boredom! Haha. I have a lot of free time on my hands right now and I've always wanted to start my own blog and share my beauty thoughts with you guys and so I just did.
  • Favorite place that you've visited?
I don't have a particular favorite place - I just love places where I can see a lot of nature!
  • What beauty products do you always go out and buy again?
Caudalie Cleansing Water. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. The Body Shop body butters.
  • Summer or Winter?
Winter. Just because you can wear a lot of clothes and you will solve the feeling cold problem but you can never wear enough less clothes in Summer to avoid the hot sun even if you're in a bikini on the beach!

My Current Skincare/Nighttime Routine.

Hello my beautiful ladies and gentlemen,
I must start by saying that skincare products are not only used to have the most amazing and healthy skin. Sure they are used to help your skin in achieving a healthier looking skin, but I do think that lifestyle and nutrition play a GIGANTIC role in your skincare. This means that drinking lots of water, using SPF, getting plenty of sleep and eating foods rich in antioxidants will surely help your skin excessively.

So with that being said here are the products in order of use that I use to help more my skin.

1. The Body Shop Pomegranate Softening Facial Wash - £10

I've been using this facial wash for about three months now and I repurchased it three times. It really cleanses your face, leaving your skin feeling very soft and firm. It is suitable for all skin types and also good for sensitive skin. It has a nice smell but nothing too powering, just a nice spa-like smell. I will surely keep on repurchasing this product over and over again. Moreover this product is quite cheap and affordable.

2. The Body Shop Pomegranate Softening Cream Cleanser - £10

After trying the facial wash from this range I went out and bought this to give it a try. This cleanser adequately removes all the remaining make-up and impurities, leaving your skin feeling softer, firmer and brighter. It is suitable for all skin types and also good for sensitive skin.

Obviously I had to try the whole range, because it is amazing. This clarifying toner removes the last traces of the previous apply of the cleanser and residual impurities leaving your skin fresh and brighter. It also primes your face for moisturizer. Also this product is cheap as the others where and therefore quite affordable.

After the toner, I moisturize with this very inexpensive but quite good moisturizer which gives 12 hours of moisturisation without leaving your face sticky and slippery. The Pro-Vitamin B5 which the product has is just the perfect job for smooth and moisturizing face. It is good for all skin types and it is even great for sensitive skin.

Looking for an affordable, good lip balm? This little thing right here is the perfect lip balm that I ever owned, I reach for it in the morning (although I don't really applicate much because my lips will still feel moisturized from the night), during the night and before I go to sleep. It has a nice cherry-minty smell which I particularly love, since mint is my favorite everything and also since it is minty it leaves your lips quite fresh and kissable all the time. This is my fourth one and I will definitely buy it over and over again.

This beautifully packaged hand cream saved my life back in the summer season, and it is still being there for me when I need it. It has a rose scented smell, it is not sticky and it blends into the skin nicely, leaving your hands smooth and touchable. I don't recommend this to those who don't like floral scents because it is quite strongly scented but everything else about it is amazing

If you don't own this body butter here, you should stop doing what you are doing right now and go purchase it NOW as it is still in stock. I bought this at the very beginning of December and oh my! As soon as I swatched it in the store, I just grabbed two of them because it was a Christmas edition and I knew that they will not be available for a long time. When I went into the store I was 100% sure that I were going to buy the cranberry one, but it doesn't smell as good as this one. It leaves your skin very soft and it dries immediately but don't worry the smell stays for a pretty long time.

So these were my drugstore skincare products, I hope that this was helpful to you and hopefully you will try some of them if you don't already own them. I will soon write about the high-end skincare products, so stay tuned for that.

Goodbye and remain beautiful as always.
